Safety

Health and Safety Policy Statement

Safety and Incident prevention is a top priority at Klaus Enterprises Ltd. and its affiliated companies. It is every employees and contractors duty to integrate safety into all operations so Klaus objectives and goals are achieved safely and efficiently

The Management and Supervisory Staff at Klaus are committed:

  • To ensure the health and safety of all our employees and contractors.

  • To protect others from harm resulting from our activities.

  • To protect our property from accidental damage.

  • To meet our commitment by taking all practicable steps to ensure the safety of our employees and contractors; the safety of our customers and their employees; and the safety of the public.

Management and Supervisory Staff of Klaus will ensure that all our employees and contractors are equally committed to a healthy and safe working environment by ensuring that every employee and contractor is:

  • Involved in the participation and/or leadership of monthly safety meetings,

  • Involved in identifying and controlling hazards in our industry,

  • Informed about all hazards that may exist in their work environment,

  • Informed about safety clothing and equipment that they may require,

  • Informed about health and safety through a documented manual,

  • Informed about emergency procedures,

  • Informed about incident reporting procedures,

  • Trained to do the tasks for which they are employed or contracted,

  • Supervised (when necessary) in carrying out their duties,

  • Aware of their responsibilities for the safety of themselves, their fellow employees, contractors and the public.

The information in this health and safety policy statement and in the Klaus health and safety manual does not take precedence over O.H. & S. Regulations.  All employees and contractors should be familiar with O.H. & S. Regulations.
